Musical Theatre & Performing Arts Classes for Kids and Teens in Ottawa
At Broadway Bound Youth Musical Theatre, we're all about helping young performers discover their confidence, develop their skills, and find their place on stage.
From first steps in dance and imaginative play to singing, acting, and musical theatre performance, our programs give students the opportunity to learn, grow, make friendships, and experience the excitement of performing.
There are two ways to join us:
Lil' Stars (Ages 4–7): No audition required! Families can register directly or book a trial class.
Youth Star Company (Ages 8–18): New students begin with a free Audition/Placement Session, where our team gets to know their abilities and helps determine the most suitable class placement.

About Our Auditions/Placement Sessions
Joining Youth Star Company begins with a free Audition/Placement Session!
Our sessions are designed to give young performers a chance to experience BBYMT while allowing our instructors to get to know their interests, confidence, and abilities.
What to Expect
Students will participate in a variety of fun group activities involving singing, dancing, and acting. No preparation or previous musical theatre experience is required.
Activities are designed to be accessible to beginners while giving more experienced performers opportunities to demonstrate their skills.
After Your Session
Our team will review each student's participation and abilities to determine the most suitable class placement. Families will receive information about their placement outcome and next steps.
Remember: Come ready to participate, try something new, and have fun!
Placement Sessions are for Youth Star Company applicants. Lil' Stars students do not need to attend a Placement Session.
